My son recieved this toy for his 1st birthday, his older sister (4) liked it much more than him, however now that he is 18 mos. he completely loves it. He understands the 'cause and effect' and really enjoys doing it on his own. He plays with it every day, going into his toybox looking for it specifically. We've had no problems with it and purchasing it for a friends birthday.

This car is awesome! We got this for our 1 year old and we have had it for over a year. He was able to operate it at the age of 1 and even daddy loves it! It has a simple one button operation that allows him to control the car and he has never gotten frustrated with it. He still loves to play with it and the best part is he can turn it off and on all by himself. (has been ever since 2 months after he got it.) This car is HIGHLY recommended!

Nice while it worked.
Broke within 1 week.
Lights and sound keep going, but the wire to the motor broke off from a fairly small drop (1 stair-step)
Phone number for the manufacturer is molded into the bottom - but that is now a "this number is not in service" message.

my daughter received this toy just before she was a year old, and although we thought it seemed odd, we gave it a shot because it is rated for 12 months and older. well, there's nothing unsafe about it for her, but she definitely can't understand the cause and effect relationship of pushing the button on the remote to make the car move. my husband and i can both attest that this is a really fun toy, though... especially if you have pets to chase around ;-)

My 1 year old got this car for Christmas, and both he and my 3 year old daughter love it. It lights up and makes car noises. He is still a little young to direct it where to go, but he loves to chase it when my daughter drives it. We have only had this toy for a little over a week, but it has been dropped many times and is still running well, even on our carpet. I love that it only has one button on the control. The only problem I have is that unless you turn it off by the switch on the bottom of the car, it makes continuous noise and runs the batteries down fairly quick. However, due to the continuous noise, I usually find it and turn it off myself. Overall, a really fun toy.

I purchased this for my 18 month old son. He uses it with ease and is facinated by it for about 3 minutes each time we bring it out. I think this is a great toy, though for some reason he does not seem to want to play it unless I get it out and start playing it. The only thing Parents could have improved on is to have an automatic shut off on the toy. Once it is turned on, it just runs the batteries until someone shuts it off. I would recommend this toy, as it may hold another child's interest.

We received this car from a neighbor for our 2 1/2 year old son. My neighbor's children had used it for a couple years and it was still in great shape. My son loves it and it is easy for him to use. My only complaint is the noise that it makes. It's quite loud and annoying, so I stuck a piece of clear tape over the speaker and it muffled the sound a little bit!

My son reieved this car for Christmas and it is really noisy. It constantly makes this really loud noise and there is no way to cut the noise down or off w/o turning the car off. He got another remote control thing that is muh better not so much noise and really easy for him to figure out. I can't remember who makes it or what it is called but I can tell you what it looks like. It has 3 wheels and a beacon on top it's green and the beacon is red the remote is a round yellow thing that can stick on the toy and press buttons and it will move itself or take it off and the child can move it around.

My son is 19 months old is very intrigued by the toy; however, he isn't able to maneuver it well himself. I agree with the previous reviewer that says how noisy it is. Even if the car is not being used it makes an annoying sound. It would be nice if it was quiet until you push the button to play with it. I like the concept of having one simple push button, but my son doesn't understand how to use it yet.
